!!!!!!FaceBook, META, & Instagram DEACTIVATED ME!!!!!!

This Rosh Hashanah, while most people were celebrating and reflecting, I was dealing with something I never thought would happen: my Facebook business account, Meta account, and Instagram Art page — which I’ve spent over 15 years building — were suddenly deactivated.

It happened right after I asked a question about Israel.

For years, my online presence has been centered around art. I’ve poured my creativity, time, and energy into growing a loyal community across platforms. These accounts weren’t just social media pages; they were my professional identity, my gallery, and my livelihood.

Then, out of nowhere, everything was gone.

When I logged in, I was met with cold, automated messages telling me my accounts had been disabled. No clear explanation. No warning. No real opportunity to appeal. Just silence from Meta — the same company that for years encouraged me to invest in their ecosystem.

All I did was ask a question. It wasn’t hateful. It wasn’t violent. It was a question about Israel, and shortly after, my accounts were shut down.

It’s hard to put into words how devastating it feels to lose over a decade’s worth of work and community overnight. Thousands of posts, conversations, commissions, and collaborations — erased with no way to retrieve them.

I’m sharing this because it’s important for people to know that this can happen. Even long-standing accounts that follow the rules aren’t immune. If it can happen to me after 15+ years of dedicated work, it can happen to anyone.

I don’t know if my accounts will ever be restored. But I refuse to stay silent about what happened.
