Why Ordering Through Me Matters — Authentic Limited Edition Prints
As a collector, you deserve complete transparency when it comes to the artwork you bring into your home. That’s why I want to take a moment to explain the difference between ordering a print directly through me versus purchasing one that ships straight from the print company.
When you place an order through me, your print is sent to my studio first. There, I personally inspect, sign, and hand-number each piece, then affix a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) sticker to the back. This extra step ensures your print is an official, limited edition work — authenticated, documented, and touched by the artist’s own hand.
And because I appreciate everyone who supports my work directly, I always include a few bonus goodies — like stickers and other small swag — as a thank-you for collecting my art.
If you choose to order directly from the print lab, your artwork will arrive exactly as it was printed — beautiful and high-quality — but it will not include my signature, COA, or any extras, as it never passes through my hands. While both versions are printed from the same master file, only those signed and numbered by me are part of the official limited edition series.
It’s important to know that a digital master file can technically produce an unlimited number of prints. Many artists continue to release the same image long after an edition is said to be sold out, often as Artist Proofs (APs) or Printer Proofs (PPs). I’ve chosen a different path — once a limited edition run has sold out, that’s it. No reprints, no hidden extras. Each limited edition remains true to its name.
This process is my way of keeping things honest, transparent, and truly limited. By having your print sent to me for signing and certification, you’re not just buying art — you’re investing in an authentic collectible that carries my personal guarantee of quality and exclusivity.
If you’re a collector who values authenticity, transparency, and a few fun surprises in the package, I encourage you to have your print routed through me. It’s a small step that makes all the difference.
